Hertz 25.3 Deici Subwoofer: Hertz DS 25.3 car audio subwoofers offer high efficiency and exceptional power handling. Equipped with a polypropylene membrane and butyl rubber surround, they provide high excursion with minimal distortion. An efficient cooling system ensures optimal heat dissipation, increasing their reliability.

Small Details, Big Sound: The D5 Stealth Sub features a steel protective grill and a 2" precision tube port. The grill keeps the bottom of the front cushion from resting against the sub (which would essentially eliminate the bass the sub produces), and the port allows the sub to produce a smoother/cleaner more powerful bass for an open air environment.
Simplified Installation Process: The enclosure includes threaded holes in each side, stainless steel hardware, and mounting brackets for a straight forward bolt-on installation.

Why The D5 Stealth Sub? Why Not Buy A Cheaper Universal Subwoofer Package?
If cost is your #1 concern, then go to Amazon.com. If sound quality, product quality, longevity, ease of install, and buying from a family owned business that stands behind their products is your concern, then welcome in.
Let's cut to the chase. There are numerous cheap, universal subwoofer kits made for out there that can be made mounted under the front seat of your D5 (not nearly as easy our Stealth Sub though). However, none of these universal sub kits will utilize the air space as well as our Stealth Sub does (and more air space means more bass). But most importantly, most universal subwoofer kits are made out of MDF wood and are carpeted because they're supposed to sit in the trunk of a car that doesn't experience any weather (the exact opposite application of a golf cart). MDF wood quickly falls apart once exposed to water and being wrapped in carpet will accelerate this process as the carpet will hold water.
So if having mediocre bass with a subwoofer enclosure that will slowly fall apart in the elements that took modification skills to mount to your cart, then Amazon.com. But if you want a subwoofer kit that bolts directly to the frame, is built to withstand the elements for as long as you own your D5, provides a nauseating level of bass for you and your passengers, and is built and backed by a family owned business in the good ole state of Ohio, than our D5 Stealth Sub was made for you.

- This listing is also for customers that want the Stealth Sub for their own DIY sound system (If this option is chosen, you will receive the Stealth Sub, Mounts, Hardware and the 2 pin connector with pigtail wires to wire in to your own audio system)
- If you want to order the D5600 with the Stealth Sub, you select the Stealth Sub option on the D5600 page.
- This Stealth Sub does not plug n play into the factory audio on your D5. To have a plug n play install you will need to purchase the D5600 with our Stealth Sub option.
- It is less expensive to order our D5600 with the Stealth Sub at the same time than it is to order the Stealth Sub later because of shipping and variable costs that come with accepting, prepping, and shipping individual orders as opposed to combo orders.
