2026 Electro & Co ETM RTR Alpha 18kW Electric Dirt Bike
Electro & Co2026 Electro & Co ETM RTR Alpha 18kW Electric Dirt Bike
The 2026 Electro & Co ETM RTR Alpha is the flagship high-performance version of the compact ETM platform, combining an incredible 18,000 watts of peak power, 70+ mph capability and an 80V 30Ah high-voltage lithium battery with premium suspension, brakes, wheels and CNC-machined components.
Electro & Company developed the Alpha for riders who want maximum performance from the compact 14/12-wheel ETM platform without having to immediately start upgrading the bike after purchase.
At approximately 135 lbs with a 30-inch seat height, the Alpha maintains compact pit-bike dimensions while delivering a level of electric performance that separates it dramatically from conventional pit bikes and entry-level electric dirt bikes.
18,000 Watts of Peak Power
This is where the Alpha separates itself from the rest of the standard-size ETM lineup.
The ETM RTR Alpha produces up to an incredible 18,000 watts of peak output.
Rather than delivering maximum output at all times, the Alpha provides:
Power Mode 1: 8kW
Power Mode 2: 13kW
Hole Shot Mode: 18kW
This gives the rider multiple levels of power delivery while keeping the Alpha's full 18kW output available when maximum acceleration is desired.
70+ MPH Capability
Electro & Company rates the ETM RTR Alpha for a maximum speed of 70+ mph.
That's remarkable performance from a machine that still uses a compact 14-inch front and 12-inch rear wheel combination and weighs approximately 135 pounds.
The Alpha is not intended to simply be a slightly faster RTR Sport. It is Electro & Company's maximum-performance version of the compact ETM platform.
Revolver Alpha 70H IPM Motor
At the heart of the Alpha is Electro & Company's Revolver Alpha 70H IPM brushless motor.
The Alpha motor uses a 180°C temperature rating, 30°C higher than the standard Sport Revolver motor, providing greater thermal capability for aggressive riding and sustained high-load operation.
Power is transferred through a high-strength 420 chain drivetrain designed to handle the Alpha's increased torque and output.
80V 30Ah High-Voltage Battery
The Alpha comes standard with an 80V 30Ah lithium battery pack.
At full charge, the system reaches 92.4 volts, giving the Alpha the high-voltage architecture needed to support its 18kW peak powertrain.
The battery remains true to one of the best features of the ETM platform: it's hot-swappable and requires no tools for removal.
Remove the quick-release seat and the battery can be exchanged, allowing riders with additional compatible battery packs to swap batteries instead of waiting for the bike to recharge.
30–60 Mile Manufacturer-Rated Range
Electro & Company rates the Alpha's stock battery for approximately 30–60 miles of riding.
Actual range will vary substantially depending on riding mode, speed, terrain, rider weight, temperature and throttle use.
A rider frequently using the Alpha's 13kW and 18kW settings should naturally expect different range than someone riding at lower power levels.
Compact 14/12 Pit Bike Platform
One of the Alpha's defining characteristics is that all of this performance is packed into the compact ETM chassis.
The Alpha uses:
Front: Kenda 60/100-14
Rear: Kenda 80/100-12
The 30-inch seat height and 44.5-inch wheelbase retain the nimble dimensions of the standard RTR platform.
That makes the Alpha fundamentally different from the RTR XL. The Alpha is about putting maximum performance into the smaller, more agile ETM chassis.
Premium Aluminum Wheels With CNC Hubs
The Alpha receives a major wheel upgrade over lower ETM models.
Electro & Company equips it with:
- CNC-machined wheel hubs
- Stainless-steel spokes
- 7075 aluminum rims
- Kenda tires
These aren't cosmetic upgrades. They're part of Electro & Company's effort to build the Alpha with higher-grade components throughout the machine.
Fully Adjustable DNM Front Suspension
The Alpha features 48mm E&C-tuned DNM fully adjustable front forks.
Electro & Company pairs those forks with CNC-machined 6061 aluminum triple clamps and CNC 6061 bar clamps.
The suspension is set up firm for aggressive riding, jumps, harder landings and higher-speed terrain.
Fully Adjustable DNM Reservoir Rear Shock
The premium suspension continues at the rear.
The Alpha uses an E&C-tuned DNM reservoir-equipped fully adjustable rear shock.
That gives the Alpha a much more performance-oriented suspension package than a basic electric pit bike and allows riders to adjust the suspension to better suit their weight, terrain and riding style.
4-Piston Disc Brakes Front & Rear
An 18kW electric dirt bike capable of 70+ mph needs serious braking hardware.
Electro & Company equips the Alpha with 4-piston disc brakes at both the front and rear.
This is another major distinction between the Alpha and lower-performance ETM models and helps create a more complete high-performance package.
CNC-Machined Components Throughout
The Alpha receives premium CNC-machined components at several critical areas of the bike.
These include:
- CNC 6061 triple clamps
- CNC 6061 handlebar clamps
- CNC 6061 footpeg mount
- CNC wheel hubs
- CNC MX-style axle blocks
Combined with the aluminum rims and stainless-steel spokes, these components give the Alpha substantially more premium hardware straight from the factory.
Extra-Rigid Swingarm
The Alpha uses an extra-rigid swingarm with CNC MX-style axle blocks.
The stronger swingarm and drivetrain components are designed around the increased torque and performance generated by the Alpha powertrain.
Tubular Steel Frame & Replaceable Subframe
The Alpha retains Electro & Company's tubular steel ETM frame with a replaceable rear subframe.
The replaceable subframe adds serviceability because damage to the rear structure doesn't necessarily require replacement of the complete main frame.
A full-length padded seat uses a quick-release system to provide easy battery access.
Adjustable Rider Position
Electro & Company's ultra-grippy footpegs are mounted to a CNC 6061 aluminum peg mount.
The peg position is adjustable, allowing the rider to alter the riding position to better suit personal preference.
Alpha vs. RTR Sport
The Alpha and Sport share the compact ETM concept, but they're targeting very different riders.
The RTR Sport provides an excellent step into higher-performance electric pit bikes with its 8kW powertrain.
The RTR Alpha takes that concept significantly further with:
18kW peak power vs. 8kW
70+ mph vs. 55+ mph
80V 30Ah high-voltage battery
Revolver Alpha 70H motor
DNM fully adjustable suspension
4-piston brakes
CNC hubs and clamps
7075 aluminum rims
Stainless-steel spokes
So I would position the Sport as the high-performance value choice and the Alpha as the premium, no-compromise compact ETM.
Alpha vs. RTR XL
This distinction is also important.
The RTR Alpha is the maximum-performance version of the compact 14/12 platform.
The regular RTR XL uses the larger 17/14-wheel chassis, taller seat, longer geometry and extended swingarm.
So customers should primarily choose between them based on the type of machine they want:
Alpha: maximum performance + compact/agile pit-bike dimensions.
XL: larger rider area + bigger wheels + longer and more stable chassis.
Electro & Company also confirms that the stock RTR/Alpha platform uses 14/12 wheels while the XL platform uses 17/14.
