2026 Electro & Co ETM RTR XL 16kW Electric Dirt Bike
Electro & Co2026 Electro & Co ETM RTR XL 16kW Electric Dirt Bike
The 2026 Electro & Co ETM RTR XL takes the performance and responsiveness of the ETM platform and scales it into a larger 17/14-wheel electric dirt bike built for more rider room, greater high-speed stability and serious electric performance.
With up to 16,000 watts of peak power, speeds of 65+ mph and a 72V 35Ah Samsung lithium battery, the RTR XL represents a major step up from the smaller ETM RTR Lite and Sport models.
The XL isn't simply a standard RTR with bigger wheels. Electro & Company developed it with an extended swingarm, extended front suspension, longer rear section and taller rider position to create geometry designed specifically around the larger platform.
16,000 Watts of Peak Electric Power
At the heart of the ETM RTR XL is a 72V Alpha powertrain capable of producing up to 16,000 watts of peak output.
The bike provides two standard power levels — 8kW and 12kW — plus a 16kW Hole Shot mode for maximum performance.
That gives the rider multiple levels of power delivery rather than forcing the full 16kW output all the time.
65+ MPH Capability
Electro & Company rates the ETM RTR XL for a maximum speed of 65+ mph.
Combined with the longer wheelbase, extended swingarm and larger 17/14 wheels, the XL is designed to provide greater stability at speed than the smaller RTR chassis.
The result is an electric dirt bike that retains the responsive character of the ETM platform while providing substantially more room, power and high-speed capability.
E&C Revolver Alpha 70H Motor
The XL uses Electro & Company's Revolver Alpha 70H IPM brushless motor, rated to 180°C.
The Alpha powertrain delivers strong low-end acceleration, midrange pull and top-end performance through a high-strength 420 motorcycle-style chain drive.
This heavier-duty drivetrain is designed around the increased output of the XL platform.
72V 35Ah Samsung Lithium Battery
Power comes from a 72V 35Ah Samsung-cell lithium battery pack.
The battery is completely hot-swappable and can be removed without tools, allowing riders with additional battery packs to exchange batteries rather than waiting for the bike to recharge.
The standard XL battery provides approximately 2.5 kWh of capacity and is rated for high-current discharge required by the 16kW Alpha powertrain.
Up to 30–60 Miles of Rated Range
Electro & Company lists the stock 72V 35Ah battery for approximately 30–60 miles of riding range.
Actual range depends heavily on speed, power mode, terrain, rider weight, temperature and riding style. Riders using the 16kW Hole Shot mode and riding aggressively should expect considerably different range than riders operating at lower power levels.
Upgradeable to a 72V 45Ah Touring Battery
The XL battery compartment can accommodate Electro & Company's larger 72V 45Ah Touring Pack, which provides approximately 3.2 kWh of capacity.
This makes the XL especially attractive for riders who want the option to increase battery capacity in the future without replacing the entire bike.
Purpose-Built 17/14 XL Platform
One of the biggest differences between the RTR XL and smaller ETM models is the chassis.
The XL rides on:
Front: 70/100-17 MX tire
Rear: 90/100-14 MX tire
Electro & Company didn't simply install larger wheels on its standard RTR chassis. The XL incorporates an extended swingarm, extended front suspension, longer tail section and taller handlebars to maintain proper geometry with the larger dimensions.
32-Inch Seat Height
The ETM RTR XL has a 32-inch seat height, compared with the approximately 30-inch seat height of the smaller RTR models.
Its wheelbase measures approximately 46.5 inches, giving the bike additional length and a more substantial riding position.
For taller riders or anyone who feels cramped on a traditional small-wheel electric pit bike, the XL provides considerably more room without jumping all the way to a conventional full-size motorcycle chassis.
Extended Fully Adjustable 48mm Forks
The front suspension uses 48mm E&C-tuned extended fully adjustable forks with a firm setup.
At the rear, the XL uses an E&C-tuned DNM adjustable rear shock, also configured around the larger and more powerful XL platform.
The longer suspension and chassis geometry are designed to provide more stability and control as speeds increase.
4-Piston Disc Brakes Front & Rear
With 16kW and 65+ mph capability, braking performance matters.
The ETM RTR XL is equipped with 4-piston disc brakes at both the front and rear, providing significantly more braking hardware than you'd expect from a basic recreational pit bike.
Extended Heavy-Duty Swingarm
The XL uses an extra-rigid extended swingarm with CNC MX-style axle blocks.
The increased length isn't only about fitting the 14-inch rear wheel. Electro & Company specifically designed the extended geometry to improve straight-line tracking and stability at higher speeds.
Tubular Steel Frame & Replaceable Subframe
The chassis uses Electro & Company's tubular steel frame paired with a replaceable rear subframe.
A removable subframe improves serviceability because damage to the rear section doesn't necessarily require replacement of the complete main frame.
The full-length foam-padded seat also uses a quick-release design, providing fast access to the battery compartment.
Adjustable Rider Position
Electro & Company equips the XL with its ultra-grippy footpegs and an adjustable mounting position, allowing riders to alter their riding position.
Combined with the taller bars, 32-inch seat and longer chassis, the XL provides substantially more room than the compact RTR models.
LCD Rider Display
A handlebar-mounted LCD display keeps important riding information directly in the rider's line of sight.
The display integrates with the XL's selectable power settings and electric drivetrain.
RTR XL vs. RTR Sport
The RTR Sport is the better choice for someone who wants a compact, extremely quick 14/12 electric pit bike.
The RTR XL is for the rider who wants more room, bigger wheels, greater stability and substantially more power.
The Sport uses a 14/12 wheel setup, 30-inch seat and 8kW maximum output.
The XL moves up to 17/14 wheels, a 32-inch seat, longer 46.5-inch wheelbase and 16kW maximum output.
That's a big enough difference that these two models should target completely different buyers — and different Google searches.
